Unvaccinated patrons who threaten, cough or spit at staff in cafes, pubs and clubs for enforcing new COVID rules will be slapped with hefty fines or face up to six months in jail. The penalties come into effect before December 17 when Queensland venues will be allowed to operate at full capacity if all staff and customers can show they are double-dosed.
