“Good for my soul”: Cooking is like therapy for Trisha Yearwood
  • 2 years ago
Trisha Yearwood, the country music and Food Network star, opens up about how cooking gives her mental clarity. “It's almost like taking a walk. You didn't know you needed a walk, but after a walk, now something that you didn't even know you needed to think about has fixed itself,” she said on “Salon Talks.” Yearwood also shares how she took advantage of her time at home during quarantine and wrote a new cookbook, “Trisha’s Kitchen: Easy Comfort Food for Friends and Family.” Yearwood describes crafting her signature Southern comfort food recipes based on family meals made by her grandparents.
