Briefing about state’s preparedness to tackle the possible Cyclone, Odisha Special Relief Commissioner, Pradeep Jena informed that 20 full units of ODRAF, 17 NDRF teams, and 172 Fire Service teams have been deployed at vulnerable areas. Arrangements have also been made for evacuation of people from low-lying areas. All efforts have been put in place to minimize disruptions, and we hope Odisha would be in a position to manage adverse impact of the cyclone effectively, said Jena.
