After the Supreme Court's strongly worded directions on taking measures to control pollution in Delhi, the Centre on Friday said it has set up a five-member 'enforcement task force' to ensure that directions regarding air pollution control are implemented.

In an affidavit filed before the Supreme Court, the Centre said it has increased the flying squads in the national capital to 40. The affidavit also said that 25 inspections were done on December 2 in Delhi to check flouting of air pollution norms.
