Karnataka: Fist Fight Erupts At BJP Meeting Held For Council Polls In Arsikere, Hassan

On November 30 evening, a BJP meeting in Karnataka turned violent. The meeting was held to discuss election strategies for upcoming council polls. The meeting witnessed fist fights and protests. Heated argument took place between two rival groups within the party. The meeting was conducted by state Excise Minister K Gopalaiah in Hassan district's Arsikere. Disruption erupted when NR Santosh, former aide of BS Yediyurappa, was delivering his speech. A group of workers raised slogans against him. They also questioned his contribution to Arsikere.
