Medicare open enrollment is taking place now through December 7th. Medicare is the federal health insurance program, available primarily to those 65 and older. Right now is what is called open enrollment, the time to sign up for benefits or to make changes to your coverage plan. But, the process is unnecessarily complicated for many, especially those with special needs, disabilities, chronic illness or financial restrictions.
