Congress-Samajwadi Party alliance performed poorly in the 2017 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. As a result of which, the vote percentage of SP declines to 29.15 percent and got the victory on only 47 seats. But, BJP got 39.67 percent and got the victory on only 312 seats. In the 2019 general assembly, party alliances with opposite ideologies and get disappointing results. Watch the video to know more.
