On the occasion of Constitution Day, the Central Hall of Parliament in which PM Modi described the features of the Constitution. The process of implementing the Constitution was completed on 26 January 1950 in the same Central Hall. The preparations for making the constitution of the country had started even before the independence of the country. It was during the freedom struggle that the shaping of the constitution was started. The Constituent Assembly was formed in July 1946, there were a total of 389 members in the Constituent Assembly, in which the number of women members was 12. On December 11, 1946, Dr. Rajendra Prasad was made the permanent president of the Constituent Assembly. Watch this video.
