Smuggled live lobsters in US$1.3 million seafood haul seized in Hong Kong after high-speed chase

Hong Kong customs have arrested two suspected mainland Chinese smugglers while seizing a shipment of HK$10 million (US$1.28 million) worth of contraband seafood, including 890kg (1,960lbs) of live lobsters and 930kg (2,050lbs) of dried sea cucumbers. The speedboat was intercepted on November 15, 2021, after a high-speed sea pursuit near Lamma Island that lasted for about 10 minutes.
