Following incessant rainfall in Bengaluru, vegetable prices have skyrocketed by up to 40 per cent as crops have been destroyed over the last two weeks, hitting supply. Tomato prices have gone up to Rs 100-110 per kg, which were being sold at Rs 80 in the first week of October.
