Anwar acknowledges calls for him to step down, but disagrees with arrogant tone

Anwar Ibrahim has acknowledged calls for him to step down as the opposition leader following Pakatan Harapan's defeat in the Malacca state election as an "opinion", but cautioned that it should be expressed without arrogance.

While acknowledging that all views would be taken into account, Anwar cautioned Harapan allies that such an opinion could invite negative reactions if expressed in an arrogant manner.
