Phreatomagmatic bursts seen in Taal volcano's crater | New Day

The increased unrest continues in one of the country's most active volcanoes. Three short-lived phreatomagmatic bursts were observed in Taal volcano's crater on Monday. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology says these bursts occurred at 8:11 AM, 8:17 PM and 8:34 PM. Each lasted about one to five minutes based on seismic signals.
