A space scientist at the University of Kent could get her project tested on the International Space Station.

Dr Penelope Wozniakiewicz is developing a new type of dust particle collector that would sit outside the space station and collect orbital debris.

The Kent scientist is one of fourteen around the UK chosen for the final selection process and could launch her project in the next couple of years.
