College encouraging girls to take up construction roles

MidKent College is hoping to encourage more young women to take up a job in construction.

Nationally, just 14% of construction industry professionals are female, with just 1% actually working at construction sites.

Jane Burtenshaw of MidKent College joined us to talk more about how and why the college is encouraging more girls to choose this field of work.
