Headteachers call Chancellor's budget 'patronising'

It is patronising and puts our teachers under intense pressure.

That is the message from Kent's head teachers to the government despite the Chancellor gifting every school thousands in cash in his annual budget.

But school bosses say the sum does not address the lack of funding for teaching across the county and the one off payments are not what is needed.
