Kent's roads could be at risk of gridlock up until 2023 as works on M20 begin

Councils in Kent say they are frustrated at government plans for a 13-mile lorry park on the M20, after it was revealed it will last for a number of years after we leave the EU.

Brexit impact reports from Dover and Kent County Council, has highlighted the county's roads could be at risk of gridlock until 2023.

The initial wave of works on the £20 million scheme - known as Operation Brock - have begun to sustain hundreds of parked lorries between Ashford and Maidstone.
