The M20 is the worst motorway in the country.

That's according to 8,500 motorists who ranked the highway bottom of the charts.

The study by watchdog Transport Focus found that smart motorway upgrades, potholes and Brexit preparations were all to blame for the poor ranking.

Highways bosses say their work will bring long-term benefits.
