Students across Kent are facing major disruption as staff at universities across the UK start an eight day strike today. Lecturers in 60 universities are taking part in industrial action over what they've called a catalogue of failings concerning pensions and pay. It comes after another walkout last year and there are fears students are missing out on their education.
