Kent pubs and restaurants' futures in doubt as second lockdown discussions intensify

Kent could be set for a second lockdown to curb the spread of coronavirus, with some businesses fearing this could spell disaster for their sector.

Covid cases are doubling every seven to eight days and the government could introduce nationwide restrictions for a short period to try to short-circuit the virus.

But many restaurants and cafes fear however they won't be able to sustain another period of closure.
