With just 24 hours until most shops shut their doors for a second national lockdown, independent retailers in Kent say they might end up being closed for good.

Thousands of shoppers have been queueing in the county's high streets to squeeze in their Christmas shopping over fears the restrictions will be extended past the second of December.

But one jeweller in Canterbury says although they're seeing a last minute rush, she's concerned the festive period will be disastrous.
