More people are using food banks in the county as a result of the pandemic

More than 1,000 extra children in Kent are needing food parcels to survive, according to new figures.

The research by the Trussell Trust found that more than 300,000 people were fed by their food banks in the South East in the last year - but that figure doesn't include other food banks.

Charities fear these figures don't even touch the surface.
