Businesses fear lorry drivers will run wild in Kent after County council lose power to clamp

A scheme by Kent County Council, which gave them permission to clamp lorries parking overnight in lay-by's and roads, will end tonight. The Department for Transport rejected their request to extend the measures for longer, which means they will no longer be effective from midnight.
