A nutritionist fears low-income families in Kent could be priced out of their weekly shop

A report commissioned by the government says a levy on processed foods would encourage manufacturers to make healthier recipes. If the plans were brought in, it could add 1 pence to the price of a packet of crips and 7.5pence to a small chocolate bar.
