Munyo Yaya Community Is Seeking Recognition From The Government

A Few Years After The Makonde Community Received Official Recognition From The Government, A Section Of Yet Another Tribe Called Munyo Yaya Have Come Out And They Are Now Appealing To The Government To Formally Recognize And Give Them A Tribe Code To Ease Their Access To Government Services. The Members Led By Their Deputy 'Kingi' Abubakar Galasha Alleged That It Has Been Difficult For Them To Access Government Services, Including Registration Of Identification Cards, Birth Certificates For Their Children And Government Jobs Due To Lack Of Tribe Code Number.
