Speaking at the 50th Convocation Ceremony of National Sugar Institute on November 16, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal said that the sugar industry is the backbone of the rural economy. He added, "Sugar is a big business in UP. I hope the students of this institute will become their future sculptors and contribute to the sugar industry."
