Delhi govt submits affidavit in SC, ready for lockdown

Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai on November 15 said that the Delhi government has submitted an affidavit in Supreme Court. He has informed the Apex Court that they are ready for complete lockdown to curb air pollution.
“We have submitted an affidavit in Supreme Court that we are ready for a lockdown. This will be possible only if the lockdown is imposed in the states surrounding Delhi and the NCR region. The government is ready to take all measures with the Centre and the state governments to curb the pollution,” said Gopal Rai.
