Chinese President Xi Jinping visited Myanmar in January 2020. Since then, he has not stepped out of his country. Jinping did not attend the G-20 summit in Italy. He even did not attend the COP-26 summit in Scotland on climate change, instead, he took part in it virtually. The absence of Xi Jinping on the world stage is raising many questions.
