President Ram Nath Kovind honored sportspersons with sports awards at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on Saturday. 35 players including Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan and Noida CM Suhas LY were awarded the Arjuna Award. Noida DM Suhas LY won the silver medal in the badminton event of Tokyo Paralympics-2020. Shikhar Dhawan expressed happiness and said that this is a huge award for a player.

राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद (President Ramnath Kovind) ने शनिवार को नई दिल्ली राष्ट्रपति भवन में खिलाड़ियों को खेल अवॉर्ड्स (National Award) से सम्मानित किया. भारतीय क्रिकेटर शिखर धवन (Shikhar Dhawan) और नोएडा के सीएम सुहास एलवाई (Suhas LY) समेत 35 खिलाड़ियों को अर्जुन अवॉर्ड से नवाजा गया. नोएडा के डीएम सुहास एलवाई ने तोक्यो पैरालिंपिक-2020 के बैडमिंटन इवेंट में सिल्वर मेडल जीता था। शिखर धवन ने खुशी जताते हुए कहा कि ये एक खिलाड़ी के लिए बहुत बड़ा पुरस्कार है।
