Vickie Chapman makes defamation threat in bid to halt parliamentary inquiry

Four public servants and a ministerial staffer have told a parliamentary committee, they discussed the potential for Deputy Premier Vickie Chapman to declare a conflict of interest in the months before she took a controversial decision to block a timber port on Kangaroo Island. Ms Chapman is now trying to halt the inquiry into her conduct by threatening to sue a Labor MP, who is leading the charge against her.
