கனமழையால் குளம் போல தேங்கியுள்ள சுரங்கப்பாதை வெள்ளநீரில் அரசுப்பேருந்து ஒன்று சிக்கிக்கொண்டது. சைதாப்பேட்டை அரங்கநாதன் சுரங்கப்பாதையில் சிக்கியுள்ள அரசுப்பேருந்தில் இருந்து பயணிகள் பத்திரமாக மீட்கப்பட்டனர். பேருந்தை மீட்கும் பணியில் தீயணைப்புப்படையினர் ஈடுபட்டுள்ளனர். டிரைவரின் அலட்சியம் காரணமாகவே பேருந்து வெள்ளநீரில் சிக்கிக்கொண்டதாக பயணிகள் குற்றம் சாட்டியுள்ளனர்.

One of the state buses got stuck in the flood water of the tunnel which had accumulated like a pond due to heavy rain. Passengers were rescued safely from a government bus stranded in the Aranganathan subway in Saidapet. Fire department workers are involved in rescuing the bus.
