The Indian team has been announced for the Test series against New Zealand. Ajinkya Rahane will be seen taking over the reins of the team in the first Test, while Virat Kohli will return to the team in the second match as captain. Rohit Sharma has been rested for this test series. At the same time, Shreyas Iyer, KS Bharat and fast bowler Pranamik Krishna have been included in the Test team for the first time. Jayant Yadav, who played the last Test match for India in 2017, has also been included in the team.
