Arghya was offered to the rising sun on the fourth day of Chhath, the great festival of faith. With this, the four-day long Chhath festival came to an end. People started reaching the ghats since morning. But in the midst of all this, the Yamuna river of Delhi attracted the most attention. On the last day of Chhath Puja, devotees take a dip amidst the poisonous foam of river Yamuna and offer arghya to the sun.

आस्था के महापर्व छठ (Chhath) के चौथे दिन (Fourth Day) उगते सूर्य को अर्घ्य दिया गया. इसी के साथ चार दिनों तक चले छठ पर्व (chhath festival) का समापन हो गया. सुबह से ही लोग घाटों पर पहुंचने लगे थे। लेकिन इन सबके बीच सबसे ज्यादा ध्यान खींचा दिल्ली (Delhi) की यमुना नदी (Yamuna River) ने। छठ पूजा के आखिरी दिन श्रद्धालुओं ने यमुना नदी के ज़हरीले झाग (Toxic foam) के बीच डुबकी लगाई और सूर्य को अर्घ्य दिया।
