Dengue cases spike in UP, hospitals flooded with patients

The last few days have been difficult for Uttar Pradesh, particularly Bareilly which has become the epicenter of mystery fever and dengue cases. The outbreak has spread to adjoining districts, resulting in an influx of patients in government and private hospitals for better treatment. The hospitals are seen flooded with patience, mostly complaining of high fever and dengue-like symptoms. Since the footfall of this disease in the state, so far six patients have died in Bareilly and over 400 cases have been reported. Watch this video.
