The festival of Chhath lasts for four whole days. The great festival of Chhath has started from November 8 with bathing and eating. Kharna is the second day of Chhath Puja, Kharna is also known as Lohanda. It is celebrated on the day of Kartik Panchami. Kharna means purification. Cleanliness and cleanliness are of great importance in the fasting of Chhath. While bathing and eating on the first day cleanses the body, on the second day the emphasis is on the cleanliness of the mind.

छठ (Chhath) का महापर्व पूरे चार दिनों तक चलता है। नहाए-खाए के साथ छठ का महापर्व 8 नवंबर से प्रारंभ हो गया है. छठ पूजा का दूसरा दिन खरना (Kharna) होता है, खरना को लोहंडा ( Lohanda) भी कहा जाता है. ये कार्तिक पंचमी के दिन मनाया जाता है। खरना का मतलब है शुद्धिकरण। छठ (Chhath 2021) के व्रत में सफाई और स्वच्छता का बहुत महत्व है। पहले दिन नहाय-खाय जहां तन की स्वच्छता करता है, वहीं दूसरे दिन खरना में मन की स्वच्छता पर जोर दिया जाता है।
