Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 8 met veteran Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Lal Krishna Advani at his residence in Delhi to wish him on his 94th birthday.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and BJP Party Chief J P Nadda were also present at Advani’s residence. BJP senior leader L K Advani was born on November 8, 1927, in Karachi. Advani was the Minister of Home Affairs in the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance government from 1998 to 2004. He also served as the Deputy Prime Minister during the Atal Bihari Vajpayee regime from 2002 to 2004.
