NBC Sports Boston’s Celtics play-by-play announcer Mike Gorman was the 2021 recipient of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame’s Curt Gowdy award, which is given annually to an outstanding basketball writer or announcer. Gorman in his speech said he wanted to share a broadcasting story, but unfortanlty there wasn't enough time.
