Rahul Dravid appointed as new head coach of Team India

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Wednesday announced Rahul Dravid as India men's cricket team's head coach. The former India captain will take over from Ravi Shastri from the home series against New Zealand, starting later in November. Rahul Dravid, who was working as the head of the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru, is credited for working closely with the youngsters and helping develop enviable bench strength for the senior national team. Dravid had recently toured Sri Lanka as the head coach of Indian cricket team, led by Shikhar Dhawan to Sri Lanka. Watch this video.
