Call it Roop Chaudas or Choti Diwali, both are known by the same name. This time this day is falling on 3th November. In the five-day festival of Diwali, it comes after Dhanteras, although this time both are lying together. Chhoti Deepawali is celebrated on the next day of Dhanteras. It is also called Narak Chaturdashi. On this day, after taking abhyanga bath in the morning, Yamraj, the god of death, is worshiped in the evening and Chhoti Deepawali is celebrated by lighting a lamp outside the house.

रुप चौदस कहें या फिर छोटी दिवाली दोनों को एक ही नाम से जाना जाता है. इस बार ये दिन 3 नवबंर को पड़ रहा है. दिवाली के पांच दिनों के त्यौहार में यह धनतेरस के बाद आता है, हालांकि इस बार दोनों साथ में ही पड़े हैं.छोटी दीपावली धनतेरस के अगले दिन मनाई जाती है. इसे नरक चतुर्दशी भी कहते हैं. इस दिन सुबह अभ्‍यंग स्‍नान करने के बाद शाम को मृत्‍यु के देवता यमराज की पूजा की जाती है और घर के बाहर दीपक जलाकर छोटी दीपावली मनाई जाती है
