Our Batsmen Need to Remain Calm: Afghan Skipper Naib After SL Defeat
  • 3 years ago
Afghanistan batsmen were all at see in their chase of 187 on a green Cardiff wicket against Sri Lanka on Tuesday. The Afghans went down by 34 runs after doing well to restrict Sri Lanka to 201 all out. Skipper Gulbadin Naib said Afghan batsmen did not have the patience to build their innings and also the quick bowlers failed to take advantage of the overcast conditions. This was Afghanistan's second ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 defeat and they will play New Zealand next on June 8 at Taunton. (Video courtesy: ICC)
