In Hindu customs, women all over the country keep the fast of Karva Chauth for the long life of their husbands. Women complete the fast by observing a Nirjala fast for the whole day after performing aarti of the moon. All the actors from TV to Bollywood celebrate the festival of Karva Chauth with great pomp.
