On Monday, Amit Shah addressed a public meeting in Srinagar on the last day of his visit to Jammu and Kashmir, during which the Union Home Minister said that the people of Kashmir have suffered a lot. Shah said that it was condemned in very strong words, I want to talk openly with you, during which Shah said that I want to make friends with the youth of Kashmir. For this reason I have come without bulletproof among you.

सोमवार को Amit Shah ने अपने तीन दिवसीय Jammu and Kashmir, दौरे के आख‍िरी द‍िन Srinagar में एक जनसभा को संबोधित किया, इस दौरान Union Home Minister Amit shah ने कहा क‍ि कश्‍मीर के लोगों ने बहुत साहा है। शाह ने कहा कि बहुत कड़े शब्दों में मेरी निंदा कीगई, मैं आपके साथ दिल खोलकर बात करना चाहता हूं, इस दौरान शाह ने कहा कि मैं कश्‍मीर के युवाओं से दोस्‍ती करना चाहता हूं। इस कारण बिना बुलेटप्रूफ आपके बीच आया हूं।
