JNU Elections: United-Left Alliance makes a clean sweep

The United Left emerged victorious on all four central panel seats in the Jawaharlal Nehru University Students' Union (JNUSU) elections. Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) stood second in all the four key posts.

Sai Balaji, presidential candidate of the Left United Alliance, defeated ABVP’s Lalit Pandey and Thallapalli Praveen from BAPSA (Birsa Ambedkar Phule Students Association).

Balaji won 2161 votes out of the total 5170 votes polled. Pandey came second with 982 votes while Praveen won 675 votes.
