3rd Test (Trent Bridge) Day 2: Highlights from India (IND) vs England (ENG)

India was dismissed early in the morning of Day 2 at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. Rishabh Pant couldn’t stay at the crease for long & India’s first innings tumbled at 329 runs. When England came to the bat, English openers started to easily but Hardik Pandya’s onslaught with the ball made sure England were on their knees. In the same process, Rishabh Pant created the record to become the first Indian wicket keeper to take 5 catches on debut. Whereas Hardik Pandya became the 2nd fastest Indian bowler to take a five-wicket haul in terms of ball bowled making only Harbhajan Singh ahead of him. Jos Buttler crossed 1000 runs in Test cricket & yet again top scored for England. India were top notch when they came to bat in the 2nd innings making sure that Shikhar Dhawan & KL Rahul make sure India come to play on top on Day 3.
