Journaling is one of the best end easiest ways for self-discovery and self-development. It can help you in so many different ways. For example, regular journaling can help you to reduce stress, organize your thoughts, process difficult emotions, understand better what you really want, get more clarity on your dreams and goals, make plans on achieving them. And in the long run, it can even help you to improve your mental health and to change your life in the way you want.

The Morning pages technique was introduced by Julia Cameron in her book “The Artist’s way”. She recommended doing it first thing in the morning and writing three pages. There are no rules about what exactly you should write. The main idea is to get out all your thoughts and feelings. You can write anything that comes to your mind.

A gratitude journal is the best way to increase feelings of joy and happiness. Every morning or evening you can write down from five to ten things that you feel grateful for.
Even when you have problems or feel upset for some reason, you can still find something to be grateful for.
The more you focus on the good things, the more you start seeing them in your life. You are becoming more positive and more optimistic.

To feel more confident and more motivated, you need to remember what you have already done. Success journal is one of the best ways to do this. Every day, better if in the evening, you can write down everything you’ve done, even just small and maybe not very important things. After a few weeks, you should start feeling the difference.
