UP Election 2022 BJP eyes are now on SP's Yadav vote bank. The political power of the Yadav community in UP is such that it has not only ousted the leadership of Thakurs and Brahmins from the power of UP, but has also remained in power after the Mandal movement, except Mayawati. In the 2017 assembly elections, the BJP had mobilized non-Yadav backward castes against the SP.

बीजेपी की नजर यूपी में अब सपा के यादव वोटबैंक पर है. यूपी में यादव समाज की सियासी ताकत ऐसी है, जिसने ठाकुर और ब्राह्मणों के नेतृत्व को यूपी की सत्ता से सिर्फ बेदखल ही नहीं किया बल्कि मंडल आंदोलन के बाद मायावती को छोड़ दें तो सत्ता में लगातार बने भी रहे हैं. 2017 के विधानसभा चुनाव में बीजेपी ने गैर यादव पिछड़ी जातियों को सपा के खिलाफ लामबंद किया था.
