Anger amongst Indigenous communities over failure to allocate funding to problem areas

When the Prime Minister came to Tennant Creek to offer $80 million in financial assistance following the rape of a toddler in 2018, aboriginal leaders thought governments were finally listening. But they are now angry and accusing the Northern Territory and federal governments of refusing to commit the money to projects which address crime and poverty.
