NEW YORK, NY -- Jaylen Brown spoke to the media during shootaround media availability ahead of their season opener vs the New York Knicks.

Brown recently tested positive for COVID and was forced to quarantine. He discussed how he feels physically.

"I feel good, considering. I feel awesome to be honest. I'm excited." Brown said he had some mild symptoms, and had breathing issues. He added that the Celtics have inhaler available for him if he needs one, but he doesn't think he'll need it.

Brown discussed his former teammate Kemba Walker who was traded during the offseason

"It was such joy having him around. He was a motivator and he was always trying to put a smile on my face. I miss him, but crazy things happen in this league."
