Aportion of a bridge in Haldwani was seen getting washed away due to a rise in the water level of the Gaula river following heavy rain in Uttarakhand. Visuals showed the water pounding the bridge, a significant portion of which washed out due to the impact. Meanwhile, the water level in the Nainital Lake is overflowing due to continuous torrential rains for 40 hours, leading to streets being flooded in the Nainital district.
