Heavy rainfall in Uttarakhand washed away a bridge in Haldwani on Tuesday, while the overflowing Nainital Lake flooded the streets in the district. The water level in the Nainital lake is overflowing due to continuous torrential rains for 40 hours, leading to streets being flooded in the Nainital district. The water can be seen entering the buildings and houses in the region. Visuals showed the water being knee-deep and flowing at a great pace with two men struggling to cross the street.
