Chairman of National Commission for Scheduled Castes Vijay Sampla on October 16 slammed farmers over the recent barbaric killing of a man at the Singhu border. “The spot where they hanged him is also near the stage. Whatever incident occurs there, they (farmers) are only responsible for it. Their role is the same as that of culprits,” said Vijay Sampla. He further said that farmers “cannot wash their hands of” the incident. One person has been arrested in the case.
